Our philosophy is simple: A good wine is one you like.
Just because a wine has a high “rating”, or a high price tag doesn’t necessarily make it a great wine for you.
As wine educators we want to help you discover what you like best. Being in the wine business for over 15 years has its advantages.
Because we taste and assess hundreds of wines a year, we’ve done a lot of the hard work for you. Our Naked Grape “Wine of the Week” picks are wines that we have found to be interesting, of good value, or are just plain good drinking!
ABOUT IAN
 Host and wine educator Ian White is "The Naked Grape."
Since graduating from England's prestigious Westminster Catering College, Ian has amassed almost two decades of experience in the restaurant and wine industries in Europe, Australia, and America.
Ian has also studied at London's Wine and Spirit Education Trust and at the German Wine Academy in Oestereich Winkel, Germany.
In 1992 Ian founded his own wine consulting company, The Naked Grape, Inc. in Boston Massachusetts where he also teaches a series of wine classes
Ian feels fortunate to have turned a hobby into a career. He continues to educate people about wine in a fun, accessible way through his teaching and writing.
